Resolve to be Healed

For a New Year Resolution, instead of just focusing on eliminating bad habits, consider a resolution of being healed. Yes, it can be for someone you love but how about for you? Do you have physical concern? People have lifelong allergies, painful arthritis, physical concerns from birth, medical conditions they "live with" and take medicine for, like diabetes and heart problems, addictions like smoking, physical concerns that keep getting worse, etc. There was a woman with one leg 1 ½ inches shorter than the other because a car accident over 30 years earlier in her life and God grew it out to the same length as the other one. There was a man who had worn glasses for 46 years and his vision had declined to where he had to wear bifocals and after 25 years of praying God healed his eyes and after testing by the state, the restriction requiring him to wear glasses was removed from his driver's license. A woman who had taken thyroid medicine for 40 years and God healed her where after testing; her Doctor says she no longer needs the medicine. A senior citizen injured his knee where he needed a cane to walk and God healed his knee after persistent praying where he can run again. God healed a man with terminal lung cancer. A man born blind and did not ask for healing and did not know who Jesus was, was healed by "GOD'S POWER". There was young man who was dead and his body was being carried in a funeral procession and Jesus said "GET UP" and he rose from the dead. God can help any physical concern you have as "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD". 1

Do you have a healing need? Do you want God's help? Jesus says, "IF TWO OF YOU ON EARTH AGREE ABOUT ANYTHING YOU ASK FOR, IT WILL BE DONE FOR YOU BY MY FATHER IN HEAVEN". I will agree with you for your healing. You may email me with your prayer request and I will pray immediately in an email reply. Or you may call me at 918-83-JESUS (918-835-3787) and I will pray with you over the phone or arrange to meet you and pray while laying hands on you as Jesus says that believers "WILL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, AND THEY WILL RECOVER". Jesus repeatedly encourages us to persist in our requests as He says "CONTINUE TO ASK, AND GOD WILL GIVE TO YOU". For everyone who is reading this, I am willing to help you persist by praying with you every time you email me a prayer request by replying with a prayer for you. Or I will agree in prayer for you over the phone at an agreed upon time, as frequently as every day. (note: all prayer request will be confidential) Resolve to make this the year of your healing! 2

Understanding the Teaching: What I share in the teaching is what I believe God wants me to share. All the direct quotes from God are highlighted in royal purple. Of course the words of Jesus are in red. Rather than follow some made up doctrine, remember that Jesus said that every thing He said (Jn 12:49) and everything He did (Jn 14:31) comes from God. All teachings and all opinions should be supported by what we learn from God or Jesus (see the scripture referred to in the footnote).

MARRIAGE WORKSHOP MOMENT

In all marriages you have issues. Most marriages have money issues. Some may have issues of distrust or in-laws or sex, etc. Issues can represent on going subjects of disagreement in a marriage. Events are a surface happening that triggers an issue. For example, if money is tight and a bill comes (an event), the bill may trigger a disagreement about the issue of money. Or if one person has issues of distrust and the other person comes home late (an event), this can trigger an argument. When an argument is triggered it is a good to call time out and use the Speaker Listener Technique in your discussion. In some marriages, people tell me this type of discussion is almost a daily occurrence. Instead of waiting for an event to trigger an argument, it is better to discuss issues in you weekly couples meeting. Then when an event happens, the issue may already be resolved.

The Better Half "When your partner won't support your efforts to make your marriage better" Without your spouse's support to improve your marriage, you can still pray daily for God's will to be done in each of your lives and your marriage ("all things are possible with God", Mk 10:27 NI). The subject of an event triggering issues is more difficult when your partners will not work on the issue. You can help defuse volatile situations if during good times you bring up potentially volatile issues and try to resolve them when times are going good.

When a spouse calls "time out", it is an opportunity for a couple to calm down before continuing the conversation at a later time (anywhere from an hour to no later than the next day) using the Speaker Listener Technique. Initially after calling time out it is an opportunity to take authority over the enemy and pray for the marriage.

Example: "In the name of Jesus I command you demons to shut up and leave our marriage and not return"

"Thank you God for helping our marriage be in Your will and guiding us in our relationship, in Jesus name, amen."

When a spouse will not cooperate, you can still take authority over the enemy and pray for your marriage.
